Derby days

I am helping a friend make a hat for a Kentucky Derby brunch in a few weeks.  I (my mom) already had some hats that we are going to add some feathers to.  Margaret wanted to see if she was cut out for a Derby hat....

She has some work to do in the wardrobe coordination and face cleaning department, but I think she is quite lovely in her hat.  Don't you?
